Here's faces of a dozen thugs, sex offenders and callous criminals who all said goodbye to their freedom during April.
They include a Northampton man who threatened his neighbour's family at knifepoint, a heartless woman who robbed a disabled man and a 92-year-old in their own homes, and an Albanian migrant caught with seven kilos of cocaine in his van.
All of them wound up in Crown Court and got their just desserts with sentences ranging from 16 weeks to ten years, eight months.

Northampton Crown Court heard how a "festering" resentment between neighbours ended with Chris Gibson, 45, breaking into a house armed with a knife threatening to stab and kill the family inside two days before Christmas. Gibson, from Severn Drive in the town, is now serving a three years and nine months sentence

Albanian Xhafer Gjojdeshi, 27, was found with seven kilos of cannabis in his van after after borrowing £9,000 to buy his way to the UK. Northampton Crown Court heard Gjodjdeshi of St James Park Road, joined an organised crime gang when building work dried up during the pandemic and helped transport drugs — he was sentenced to 15 months in jail

Northampton mum, Simone Perry. was jailed for 22 months for manslaughter of her four-month-old son by gross negligence. She left tot Renzo along alone in a bath seat for five minutes but he slipped out of his seat and drowned in approximately 13cm of water, the court heard.

Respectable businessman Alex McConnell, 56, lived a champagne lifestyle while using his Corby garage as a cover for collecting drugs from Liverpool. He was jailed for ten years, eight months at Northampton Crown Court
