Driver punched in the face by a man who stopped his Mercedes in the middle of a busy road in Northampton

An alleged road rage incident is being investigated by police in Northampton after a man was punched in the face sitting in his car.

The suspected road rage attack happened in St James Road, near to the train station, when the driver of a black Mercedes stopped in the middle of the road and allegedly approached the driver of a silver Peugeot and punched him to the face while he was sitting in his car.

The attack happened between 11pm and 11.15pm on Friday, June 3.
