Crown Court judge jails burglar for three years over break-ins at two Northampton homes

A Northampton burglar has been sentenced to three years in jail after admitting break-ins at two homes in the town.

According to documents from Northampton Crown Court, 43-year-old Jermaine Lewis pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary dwelling and theft with no violence in June and July, 2024.

Lewis, said to be of no fixed abode, took cigars and a bank card during the first break-in and items including bank cards from the second around a month later. He also admitted three counts of fraud by dishonestly making false representations to purchase items for himself which were together worth more than £260.
