Officers have released a CCTV image of a person they believe may have information about a stabbing in Northampton.

The stabbing happened on Monday, February 10, at about 3.30pm in St Gregory's Road, outside Northampton College's Booth Lane campus.

Police put a cordon in place and closed off part of the footpath into the college.

A 19-year-old victim sustained a single stab wound and was taken to Northampton General Hospital by ambulance where he was in a 'serious but not life threatening' condition.

He has now been released from hospital.

On February 11 the force arrested three 17-year-olds - one girl and two boys - who have been released on police bail.

Another male was arrested on February 13 on suspicion of section 18 wounding and has also been released on police bail.
