CCTV image released after man stole £100 of meat, cheese and more from shop on University of Northampton campus
A CCTV image has been released by police after a man stolen £100 of meat, cheese and other chilled items from a shop on the University of Northampton campus.
The incident happened at the Morrisons Daily store at the Waterside Campus between 6.55pm and 7pm on Monday November 17, 2025.
On Monday February 2, police released the picture and a statement, which says a man placed more than £100 worth of meat, cheese and other chilled products in a bag and attempted to leave the store without making payment.
A Northamptonshire Police spokeswoman said: “Although staff retrieved some of the items, the man managed to leave the store with the rest of the goods and walked off towards Becket’s Park.
“Officers believe the man in the image may have information which could assist them and are appealing for him or anyone who may recognise him to get in touch.”
