Witnesses are being sought after an Asda delivery driver was assaulted by another motorist in Butland Road, Corby.

At about 2.30pm on Saturday, May 15, the delivery driver followed another vehicle as it overtook some parked cars near to the primary school.

A black Range Rover travelling in the opposite direction, stopped to allow the first vehicle to pass.

A spokesman for Northants Police said: "The driver then moved his vehicle forward, stopping the van from passing.

"Unable to reverse, the delivery driver has blocked the road as the Range Rover driver has refused to move his vehicle.

"The driver got out of his Range Rover and approached the delivery driver, opened his door and slammed it shut repeatedly, causing a minor arm injury to the delivery driver."

The driver of the Range Rover was a white man in his late 20s to early 30s, 5ft 8in and of a medium build.

He had dark coloured hair, a trimmed beard and was wearing glasses, blue jeans and a blue hooded top.
