Armed police swarm to Northamptonshire village after shot fired through window

Armed response officers rushed to a Northamptonshire village after terrified locals reported a shot being fired through a window late on Sunday night.
Northamptonshire Police confirmed they believe a firearm was discharged in Finedon between 9.45pm and 10pm.

Hide AdDamage was reported to the window of a nearby property in Allen Road but nobody was injured.
A spokesman for the Force said: "Enquiries are currently being progressed to ascertain what happened and who was involved. In the meantime, detectives are encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
"We are particularly interested in anyone who may have any relevant CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage.
"Witnesses or anyone with information should call 101 with Incident number 21000158818. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
