An entire oven and microwave stolen after burglars broke into house in Daventry

Police are on the lookout for the two offenders, who took off in a white van after the incident

Two offenders stole an oven and a microwave after breaking into a house in Danetre place in Daventry between 8:30pm and 11:30pm on Friday 25 September.

The burglars forced the rear window of the property open before climbing through and stealing the electrical appliances. Footprints inside the property indicated that they then left with the items through the front door.

Prior to the break-in, a white Ford Transit - with two black stripes running along the roof and down the back - pulled up outside the property, which the offenders then drove off in.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: “Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have seen this vehicle or anyone acting suspiciously in the area between the stated times.”
