81-year-old woman has purse stolen in Northamptonshire supermarket

An 81-year-old woman had her purse stolen as she shopped in a supermarket on Monday.

The woman was in Tesco in Oxford Road, Brackley, between 11.30am and 12.30pm on Monday, February 29, when her purse was taken from her handbag as she shopped.

The alleged offender is believed to have been a man, of stocky build, aged between 30 and 40. He was light skinned and had short dark hair, was clean shaven and wearing glasses. He also wore light coloured trousers and a dark coat.

Police officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or have any information regarding it.

They would also like to speak to the man pictured, or anyone who may know who he is.
