The three-year partnership agreement will begin from the start of the 2016/17 season and see additional drainage installed on existing sports pitches as well as a new ‘third generation’ artificial pitch surface.

Several college games as well as Cobbler’s training sessions are called off each season because of waterlogging.

Principal Stephen Davies said: “Our new partnership with NTFC is great news for the college, the club and the local community.

“We are proud that the club has recognised not only for the fact we offer superb pitch facilities, but also the highest quality sports therapy facilities within our dedicated sports therapy and injury rehabilitation centre.

“We very much look forward to welcoming NTFC back to Moulton for the start of the next season.”

Works are planned to take place during August in time for the start of the students return to College in September.

For its part, the college will continue to host all of the Cobblers’ teams from under nines through to the first team squad for both girls and boys teams.
