Woodland View After School Club, which is based at Grange Park Community Centre, runs a breakfast and after-school club for children that attend Woodland View Primary School.

On Wednesday this week bosses at the club, known as Woody's, invited characters from Beauty and the Beast along for a Valentine's Day afternoon tea, where children were invited to wear fancy dress, join in with dancing and feast on party food.

Jane said: "Holiday clubs are based on different themes and I ensure planned activities allow children of all ages to be involved, dress-up and meet themed characters who pay us a visit."

She added: "Our friends from 'Just Party' provided the characters and they have visited us many times with lots of characters. We have a superhero day planned for the April holiday...so who will make a guest appearance we wonder?"
