Chapel Brampton care home bake sale success
Fundraising was a piece of cake for residents and care staff at Brampton View care home in Chapel Brampton, together with relatives and friends who joined the Bake for Heroes initiative in support of Help for Heroes.
Tara Reeson, recreation and activities coordinator at the home, said: “We held a sale of cakes baked and donated by supporters.
“We would like to thank everyone who supported the event, whether baking or buying.”
Guests, staff and residents dressed for the occasion in wartime costume were entertained by Lesley Ann who sang all the popular songs of the 40s. The raffle raised £113.81 for charity.
