Car targeted in early morning arson attack in Northampton street

A car was set alight in an arson attack early this morning in Northampton.

A fire engine was called to the blaze in William Street, off Robert Street, Upper Mounts, at around 3.50am.

A spokesperson from Northamptonshire Fire & Rescue said the cause of the fire was “deliberate ignition”.
