Buyers say '˜location, location, location' in Northamptonshire

M ore than 71 per cent of residents living in Northamptonshire believe the location of a property is the most important aspect to consider when buying a new home, a survey has revealed.

The survey, which has been conducted by house builders Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes, who build properties in the area, revealed that when it came to choosing a new home, the most important aspect for buyers is where the property is based and what it is close to.

The other things residents took into consideration were the local amenities close to the home (43 per cent) and the education facilities in the area (17 per cent).

Within the survey, more than 36 per cent of people said they chose the location of their home because it was close to their family, whilst 37 per cent picked their location based on how close it was to their work.
