The pubs in Brigstock were broken into during the early hours of Monday (13 June).

Sometime between midnight and 3am, the offenders entered the rear yard of the Green Dragon pub, removed ladders from the shed and used them to climb up and force entry through an upstairs window.

They searched the room but were unable to gain access to the rest of the pub.

They then left the property and, taking the ladders with them, went to the Olde Three Cocks pub where they forced the fire exit door but were disturbed and left, leaving the ladders behind.
