The EU Referendum will be held on June 23 and the Police and Crime Commissioner election will take place on May 5.

Everyone is responsible for their own registration on the electoral roll and the deadline to register to vote in the Police and Crime Commissioner election is Monday 18 April and the deadline to register to vote in the EU election is Tuesday, June 7.

A spokesman for Northampton Borough Council said: “If people are not on the electoral register they are losing out on their right to have their say in elections and referendums.

“It is important to vote to make your voice heard so we would encourage anyone who isn’t already registered to vote to make sure they do so.”
