“It’s a fresh concept with a bit of an edge. Where else can you get craft beers to take away?.”

In terms of the menu, pies - the staple of any good chippy menu - will be provided by award winning Bristol firm Pieminster.

Fish will also be “sustainably sourced”, though the venue will not be serving food on a Monday to ensure ingredients are fresh, the owners say, as fish markets are closed on Sundays.

“I think it will be a great place to start the evening,” Miss Willmore said: “Then people can move onto the Old House and then Sazerac - we’ve got the weekend sorted now.”
