It offered a full day of racing, entertainment and a celebrity panel featuring Dan Skelton and legendary jockey Jason Maguire.

Tracy Grunwell, major giving manager for the air ambulance, said: “We’re thrilled that our second Cheltenham Preview at Warwick Racecourse went so incredibly well.

Tickets for our hospitality tent sold out, making it a fantastic success and raising a lot of money for our lifesaving service.

“Our crew go out on an average of three missions every single day.

“Each mission costs approximately £1,700, which adds up quickly - as we receive no government funding, every fundraising event like this is incredibly valuable.

“A huge thank you to everyone who supported us.”
