Air ambulance lands in grounds of Northampton school for medical emergency

An air ambulance landed in the grounds of a school in Northampton to assist with a medical emergency this afternoon (Wednesday, June 10).

The helicopter has landed in the field of Kingsley Primary School in Wallace Road, Kingsley Park, at around 2.45pm.

A bystander reported crews from East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) and the air ambulance attended a house in Kenmuir Avenue.

An EMAS spokesman said: "We received a call at 2.13pm today to a private address in Northampton to assist with a medical emergency.

"We sent a paramedic in an ambulance car, a crewed ambulance and the air ambulance."

The air ambulance left the scene at around 3.05pm.
