A5 in Towcester is closed after roof slates fall into road
The A5 through Towcester has been closed this evening after slates began sliding from a rooftop onto the main road.
Police closed the road in both directions between Brackley Road and the turn-off for Wood Burcote at around 6.30pm.
The road was closed after slates fell into the road and diversions are in place.
Nobody is currently available from Northamptonshire Police to say how long the road is likely to be closed for.
