A45 slip roads closed as large warehouse fire is dealt with in Northampton
UPDATED STORY HERE.A large warehouse fire is currently being dealt with on a Northampton industrial estate.
Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS) was called to a warehouse in Caswell Road, Brackmills industrial estate at 1.30am today (May 1).

Hide AdIn the early hours, eight appliances, two aerial pumps, two water bowsers and a high volume pump were needed.
The A45 slip eastbound and westbound slip exit roads both remain closed.
A NFRS statement says: "We are currently in attendance at a large warehouse fire in Northampton.
"Eight appliances are at the scene, including one high volume pump, two aerial appliances and two water bowsers.

Hide Ad"We were called to the fire at a premises in Caswell Road, on the Brackmills Industrial Estate, at 1.30am this morning, Saturday, May 1.
"Caswell Road is currently closed, as is the A45 entrance to Brackmills Industrial Estate. Access to the area is still possible via Bedford Road and Landimore Road."
The incident has required the fire service to obtain a water supply from Northampton Waterski and Wakeboard club.. Access to and around this site is limited.
Drivers are being urged to avoid both areas.
Stagecoach Midlands servies 12 and 12A to Brackmills are currently unable to operate.
The fire service is also warning all residents close by to keep windows and doors closed.
Crews from Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire are also on hand to work with NFRS.
