The A14 is closed heading out of Northamptonshire on Friday after a lorry shed its load of OFFAL.

Highways England are warning of delays getting off the road at junction 2 near Kelmarsh with queues back to Rothwell.

A spokesman said: "A load of offal has spilled from a poultry van.

"Traffic Officers are on scene and have requested a road sweeper to attend to assist with the clear up.

"The road is likely to remain closed for several hours to allow for an extensive clean-up operation."

A diversion route has been set up using the A508 via Kelmarsh to Market Harborough, the A4304 westbound and the A5199 via Welford back to the A14 at junction 1.
