Westone Manor Hotel is among the businesses to be reopening with a raft of strict new measures from today (Saturday, July 4).

The Fir Tree Walk hotel is welcoming back guests and diners again having been closed since March because of the coronavirus pandemic.

"We are introducing mobile check-in and check-out, contactless payment and guests can order meals and beverages through our reception mobile app."

All staff members have been specially-trained for regular cleaning and disinfection of surfaces to help combat the spread of the virus as well as wearing PPE.

When guests arrive, they will be made aware of current guidance concerning precautions which are implemented that will affect their arrival, stay and departure.

Signs are displayed at the entrance and strategic points throughout the hotel as well as hand sanitisers.

The layout of the hotel has been re-configured for social distancing but the BBQ and beer garden provides space for more than 100 people to eat outdoors safely, whatever the weather.
