The further easing of lockdown restrictions on Monday, April 12 means that we can start to look at some stunning staycation spots right here on our doorstep.
9. New Lodge Farm Caravan & Camping - Bulwick
Set in an attractive rural location in the heart of Rockingham Forest just outside the 17th century village of Bulwick, New Lodge Farm has focussed on cattle and sheep production using traditional organic methods of farming for over 100 years. Owned by the Singlehurst family it has, over the past 20 years, developed an award-winning farm shop, butchery and eatery, as well as a five star adults-only site for touring caravans, motorhomes, campers and glamping enthusiasts.
The Lockdown and Picnic Park cafés provide family friendly, safe and scenic areas to eat and drink, enabling customers to socialise in a homely and relaxed environment. Alongside the shop and café facilities the five star adults only touring caravan, motorhome, camping and glamping site is open until the end of October, offering a tranquil and peaceful haven for guests.
