“It could be a neighbour that has been delivering essential food packages to vulnerable residents, a friend or family member that has been a rock to others in their time of need, or a work colleague that has raised essential funds to support charities or local community groups.

“We want to give back to these ‘Stars of the Shires’ and treat them to a day of luxury and pampering devoted just to them.”

Anyone is invited to nominate who they believe deserves to win the prize.

Nominations can be made on the salon’s website and must be submitted by 5pm on March 19.

The winner will be announced on March 22.
