Everyone Active opens new leisure centre in Moulton

A new leisure centre has opened in Moulton to help West Northamptonshire residents get out and get fit after the long lockdown.

Everyone Active, which manages the state-of-the-art centre in partnership with West Northamptonshire Council, welcomed the public for the first time on Monday, April 12.

Run previously as the Chris Moody Centre by Moulton College, the site has been converted into a new public leisure centre for communities in this area of West Northamptonshire using £8.5million of funding from local housing developer contributions.

It offers a diverse range of facilities, including:

- Six-lane, 25m swimming pool with moveable floor

- Two therapy pools

- Changing area specifically for baby and pre-school swimming

- Health spa – includes steam room, sauna and jacuzzi (opening in May)

The pool is currently open for casual swimming, with swimming lessons due to be offered from Saturday, May 1. The amount of stations in the gym will be increased once Government guidance allows.

Moulton Leisure Centre will host virtual classes at first, with instructor-led classes to be added at a later date as restrictions ease.

Memberships are available to all customers so they can access this superb range of facilities.
