It is National Wildlife Day (March 3) and, to celebrate, we asked our readers to share photographs they took of wildlife in Northamptonshire throughout the year.
The county sees all sorts of beautiful creatures all year round from the buzzards in the skies down to the mice scuttling across the ground.
Take a moment to admire these stunning images captured by Northamptonshire residents on their very own doorsteps.
Maybe they will make you look a little closer on your next daily walk...

14. White Squirrel
This photo of a white squirrel was taken by Carol Graves. Interesting fact: they suffer from leucism, a mutated gene with turns their skin white but leaves their eyes black - this is what differentiates them from the rare albino squirrel. White squirrels are even rarer in the UK; experts believe there are fewer than one in a million compared to the population of grey squirrels which stands at around five million.

15. Kingfisher
Kingfishers are hard to miss with their famously vibrant feathers! Photo by Christine Stafford.

16. Mouse
Dan Beaman captured this adorable picture of a mouse nibbling on an apple - he's so tiny!
