Carl said: “We always work hard to deliver high-quality homes so to be recognised with a Pride in the Job Award is a great feeling.

“I have to thank my team on site – this award would not have been possible if it wasn’t for the commitment of everyone to maintaining such high standards.”

Out of 11,000, Carl is one of only 450 site managers recognised for their dedication and high quality work.

To find the winners, the NHBC complete spot checks where site managers are judged on their consistency, attention to detail, leadership, technical expertise, and health and safety.

Chris Hamilton, managing director at Martin Grant Homes, added: “The Pride in the Job Award recognises the hugely important role that site managers play on a development, it is a significant achievement for anyone, especially on a development the size of Buckton Fields.

“We are very proud of Carl and the whole team. This award is testament to the consistent quality of work delivered at the site over the last two years.”

140 new homes have already been built by Martin Grant Homes at Buckton Fields and more are yet to be completed.
