A new housing development in Northampton has launched onto the market and is set to be completed by October/November this year.

James Anthony Estate Agents (JAEA) and Aspect Homes (AH) said they are "extremely excited" to announce the launch of Thursby Gate, located in the Abington and Spinney Hill area of town.

The development has 12 individually designed homes, which are a mix three and four-bed properties - "perfect" for first-time buyers and young families, according to the JAEA and AH.

Managing Director of James Anthony Estate Agents, James Anthony, said: “Thursby Gate is due for completion October/November 2021 and the remaining plots are now available for reservation.

"At this price point, in this prime residential location, we expect there to be high demand for these contemporary properties. First time buyers and young families will love the areas proximity to the town centre and to the leisure areas of Abington Park, Bradlaugh Fields and the Racecourse."

Prices start from £289,995, and three homes have already been reserved.

An Aspects Home spokesman said: "Each home is designed with the local area in mind, with grey cottage style front doors, block paved driveways and pitched porches, incorporating a stylish design with everything you’d expect from modern living.

"The remaining three and four-bedroom homes are perfect for professionals, first time buyers and young families."

Each property is said to have well-proportioned front and rear landscaped gardens and off-road parking. The development also has good commuting links to the A45 and the train to London from Wellingborough takes around 50 minutes.

There are two three-bedroom detached bungalows behind a private-gated driveway, which are well-suited to downsizers, the estate agents said.
