Welcome Break plans to reopen major food brands near Northamptonshire by June

Northamptonshire commuters will now have access to even more services on-the-go as a leading service station has today announced plans to reopen some of it's restaurants and coffee shops.

Welcome Break will reopen 72 Starbucks (café and drive-thru), KFC and Burger King units across its 26 motorway service areas by 4 June as the UK starts to return to work.

By 4 June an additional 40 units across all 26 services will have reopened, in addition to all 39 forecourts and 36 retail stores, which have remained open throughout the lockdown period.

At Newport Pagnell Services, on the M1, Burger King will reopen on June 4 while Starbucks Café in the main building will reopen on May 26.

Welcome Break says the move follows much planning and preparation with their brand partners as well as closely following strict Government and Public Health England guidelines to ensure the safety of all.

Changes have now been made to the stations, which include a reconfigured layout to help customers navigate around the building and adhere to social distancing guidelines, while further stepping up their hygiene and cleaning processes.
