A village pub near Northampton has been put on the market for £225,000.

The Black Horse, in Cold Ashby's Main Street, has been listed for sale by chartered surveyors Sidney Philips for £225,000 as a freehold or £10,000 as a leasehold.

The pub permanently closed in 2020 after the Covid crisis kicked in, which saw establishments be forced to shut in line with strict lockdown measures.

The Black Horse is a traditional small two-roomed pub. One of the main rooms is furnished with a mixture of seating surrounding the pool and TV screen. Events are often held for the village in the car park.
