Since its launch in 2016, more than 120 restaurants have signed up to the service, 60 percent of which are local restaurants, according to Deliveroo.

Despite so much choice, there are meals that are clear favourites in the town.

Below are the top five in descending order.

5. Cod and chips from Oh My Cod in St James’ Road.

4. Bacon double cheeseburger XL meal from various Burger King locations

3. Cheese burger from Fat Burgers in Sheep Street

2. Quesadilla cravings box from Taco Bell at Sixfields

1. Ronald’s revenge from 7Bone in St Giles Street

Taking the top spot is one of the many burgers on offer at a fairly new restaurant in Northampton town centre.
