A top Northamptonshire chef has created a series of luxury three-course meals to be delivered to customer's doorsteps while pubs and restaurants are closed.

Danny Tomkins, who was crowned chef of the year at last year's Northamptonshire Food & Drink Awards, has already offered a delivery service and at home dining this year due to the pandemic.

As the second lockdown is well underway and pubs and restaurants are closed, the chef has launched a series of new three-course takeaway meals, while once again offering delivery across Northamptonshire.

Danny, who previously worked as Earl and Countess Spencer’s personal chef, said: “This second lockdown has hit people hard – just when we hoped we were returning to normal it seems as though we are back to square one. We could all do with a bit of a pick-me-up and hopefully these delicious ‘dinner party in a box’ takeaways will be just the job.

“A high-quality meal with loved ones is one of life’s great pleasures and there’s no reason that shouldn’t still be possible.”

Danny has devised a menu whereby diners are able to select from starters including celeriac velouté, smoked pigeon breast and gambas pil pil.

Danny is also planning a full Christmas dinner menu, which will see a festive feast delivered to customer's doors on Christmas Eve, complete with instructions on how to serve for the big day.

Priced at £40 per person, the lockdown three-course meal is available to book now, by emailing [email protected].

More details are will be released about the Christmas menu soon.
