"We’ve been working really hard to ensure that when we reopen our pubs are as safe as possible.

"Alongside that we’re fiercely committed to delivering an uncompromised experience; a visit to one of our pubs now will be as fun and memorable as it always has been.”

Every member of staff has completed in-house and online training to ensure they fully understand how to deliver a safe, fun and friendly experience in each pub.

All of the pubs in the portfolio have been redesigned with safe distancing in mind and every site will be actively monitored to ensure that guidelines are being followed.

The family-run group, which started in March 1970 with the Thomas 'A' Becket public house in St James, is also celebrating its 50th year in business in 2020.

It was reported this week by the Chron that the pub group, which was forced to close its 15 pubs and restaurants in Northampton in line with Government guidelines, has secured a £1.25 million bank deal from HSBC UK to pay any costs incurred during lockdown, cover projected trading losses for the next quarter and support the purchase of protective equipment to ensure employees and customers are safe when its sites reopen.
