An outdoor food festival in Northampton is making it's first comeback to the town this summer on Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11 - with measures to keep it's customers as safe as possible.

Bite Street NN said tables will be spaced four metres apart, two metre social distancing rules will apply and one-way queuing systems will be in place.

Tickets are now on sale for the event at £1 and customers can each choose a one-hour time slot they want to book in advance to avoid huge gatherings of people.

A new grassed picnic area shall also be introduced for families.

Previously food vendors have included faces from the Digbeth Dining Club scene in Birmingham as well as curry, meat, taco and vegans stands.

The food festival first launched over the May Bank Holiday weekend last year and has since seen thousands of foodies devour cuisines from around-the-world.
