The team at the Great Billing local have reportedly declined to renew their lease after it expired in the summer.

It comes after the Mill closed its doors in March for the Covid-19 lockdown, and has stood with metal shutters over the windows ever since.

The team aimed to reopen with other pubs in July - but now it will not return.

A Greene King spokesperson said: “We would like to thank all our customers at The Billing Mill who visited over the years.

"While it’s sad to close the pub our lease is coming to an end and we’ve held consultations with the team over the summer to offer them opportunities at our other pubs in the area.”
