Check out how quiet Northampton town centre was on Friday and Saturday nights despite pubs being open for first time in months

Despite being able to go to for a night out for the first time for months, Northampton town centre was pretty quiet on Friday and Saturday evenings.

The usual hotspot streets were quiet by 10pm on both nights with few queues for pub gardens, according to freelance photographer Leila Coker.

Popular places like The Cordwainer in The Ridings and The Wig and Pen on St Giles Street had a few people waiting outside but overall it was nothing compared to a usual, bustling weekend.

Inside may have been a different story and many pubs seemed to be busy during the day as punters enjoyed the sunshine.

Flick through Leila's photos from the nights to see for yourself.
