Temperatures are expected to reach 20 degrees over the end-of-May bank holiday weekend!

Many restaurants and pubs in Northamptonshire are reopening their stunning outdoor spaces from April 12.

Only days after the county experienced a month's worth of rainfall in the space of just a few hours, this bank holiday weekend will see temperatures sour to 20 degrees.

What better way to see the summer weather in than to enjoy your favourite food and drinks outside?

We have compiled a list of pub gardens and outdoor dining spaces across Northamptonshire you could enjoy this weekend from May 29 to May 31.

Fawsley Hall, in Daventry, have a beautiful terrace and courtyard dining areas along with a brand new tipi dining space! They have a delicious all day dining menu so visitors can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea in the sunshine.
The Brampton Halt in Chapel Brampton have a stunning pub garden with outdoor heaters, a barbecue and breathtaking countryside views.
The staff at the beautiful canalside pub, The Narrowboat in Weedon, set up a brand new marquee last month and visitors can order food and drink from their tables on the pub's app.
Overstone Manor - situated in Sywell - underwent an six-figure refurbishment before welcoming visitors back in April. Extended covered seating areas, patio heaters and more lighting are among the improvements that have been made to the venue so visitors can enjoy a range of dishes outside including their popular carvery!
Visitors to The Terrace at Rushden Lakes will be able to enjoy a cocktail on the rooftop bar overlooking the lake.
The Hart in Duston's opening hours are 12pm-9pm Sunday to Thursday and 12pm-11pm on Friday and Saturday.
Waterside restaurant and bar, Tap and Kitchen, serves up drinks, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Dogs are welcome!
Visitors to TJ's Bar and Grill in Corby can book one of their beautiful heated covered booths or even one of their exclusive self-contained pods! There will be tables available for walk ins too.

The Folly restaurant opposite Towcester Racecourse has an outdoor dining space with heaters and a marquee to protect customers from the elements!

The Black Prince - in Abington Square, Northampton - operates on a first come, first served basis and no bookings will be taken.
John Franklin's on the Guildhall Road in Northampton town centre have an outdoor seating area and their opening hours are 10am-5pm from Tuesday to Saturday.

Greene King pub and carvery, The Quays, is open from Sunday to Thursday 11am-9pm and Friday to Saturday 11am-10pm. Their carvery runs 12pm-8pm every day and their main menu 11am-8pm. Customers will need to place their orders through the Greene King app and they show all sports throughout the day on their outside TV!
The Wayfarers in Kettering has a brand new beautifully renovated garden area and they have recently introduced cocktail pitchers! What better way to enjoy the sunshine? Note that they do not take bookings and operate on a first come, first served basis.

The Wheatsheaf in Titchmarsh has a takeaway service available with menus published weekly. This country pub is dog friendly, has a large car park and a huge garden and patio area covered by a marquee.

New owners of The Rose and Crown, Kim and Mark Morgan moved to the area a while ago from Blackpool, where they ran a hotel, but they could not open up due to lockdown restrictions. The pub has already had an interior makeover and is ready for a new lease of life as a popular venue in Market Square, Oundle.

Pop-up Partners' food festival will be making its second appearance at the university of Northampton's Waterside Campus this bank holiday weekend following the success of its first event. Visitors will be able to buy takeaway food or they can make the most of the space and stay to enjoy food and drink. It will run from 11am to 7pm from Friday, May 28 to Monday, May 31.
