James Peck, owner of Burnt Lemon Chefs, said: “The live Supper Clubs that we’ve held throughout the pandemic have been a great way of giving people a bit of contact with others during what has been a massively difficult period for us all.

“We wanted to do something similar to celebrate Christmas and we’re looking forward to a brilliant night of festive fun while showcasing some of the suppliers who have really stood out during lockdown and deserve a place at your table.”

The cookalong will take place from 5pm on Saturday, December 12 and features dishes including smoked crab croquette with a lobster and Saxby’s Cider bisque, Braybrooke Beer braised short rib of beef and Christmas pudding with a Warner’s Gin infused crème anglaise.

Brixworth-based Jelley’s Organic Vodka will be serving up cocktails perfectly designed to match each course, including a Mistletoe Martini and a Citrus Collins.

Ben Jelley, of Jelley’s Organic Vodka, said: “This year, perhaps more than any other, has shown us that by coming together and supporting each other we can make good things happen.

“The Covid-19 pandemic has hit us all but the producers, the growers, the farmers and the artisans of Northamptonshire have found a way. This county is tough, it’s resilient and it’s proud.

“We have put together a menu showcasing ingredients from some of our favourite suppliers – those that have made life that little bit more bearable for us all throughout the last eight months. These guys set the standards, all you have to do is set the table.”
