We asked our readers what bars and restaurants they miss that are no longer here in Northampton.
We went through some of our most popular answers and scoured our archives for old pictures of what was once popular dining and drinking venues in the town. We were able to narrow them down to 11 places - gone but not forgotten.
Other popular answers not included in list are Camilla's, Muswells, Slurps, Papa Cino's and Panache.

Residents miss the Hakamou tiki bar, which was tucked away down some stairs near the entrance of the Grosvenor Centre. It was popular with patrons for its large array of exotically named drinks and unapologetically cheesy music.

6.
A very well missed drinking establishment was the nightclub, Ritzy - formerly Cinderella Rockerfella's and, before that, The Salon. Ritzy closed down in the late nineties to make way for the Saints’ rugby club ground, Franklins’ Gardens, as we now know it.

7.
Wetherspoons pub, 'Moon on the Square' in Market Square was closed in 2017. Thankfully, we still have The Cordwainer pub in The Ridings.

8.
Former Chinese restaurant, Imperial, on Castilian Street was a popular answer from readers. Plans have since been approved by West Northamptonshire Council to convert the closed restaurant and part of the neighbouring nightclub, Sazerac's Bar, into flats.
