Barratt Homes has donated £1,000 to a specialist unit at a Northampton primary school that offers inclusive opportunities for children with severe learning difficulties.

The donation by the homebuilder will go towards new sensory resources and role play equipment for the new outdoor play space. This will offer pupils who have complex learning and physical needs a better range of play and learning opportunities.

Lucy Boswell, the specialist unit lead, said: “We were delighted to hear about the donation from Barratt Homes, and it will really help us to enrich the learning and play experiences of our children.

“We work tirelessly to provide the best resources and experiences for our pupils and to receive a donation like this not only boosts funds but it also boosts morale and spurs us on to do even more!

“Barratt Homes’ Community Fund scheme really does make a huge difference to charities and organisations like ours.
