The treat box consists of a high tea for two, a cheese platter, two cocktails and an optional personalised bottle of organic vodka.

Founder of Burnt Lemon Chefs, James Peck, said: “Mums are amazing and it’s been such a difficult year for many as they’ve struggled to see their families during lockdown. We wanted to provide something really special to help people show how much mums are loved and cherished.

“Given everything we’ve all been through this past 12 months, there’s no better time to give them a real treat. It’s very much deserved.”

The high tea includes a range of sandwiches and cakes for two and The Gourmet Dinner Lady’s cheese platter is compiled of locally-made artisan cheeses, gourmet biscuits, fresh fruit and nuts and chutney from Friars Farm.

Cocktail lovers can choose between a gin bramble or an elderflower mojito from The Occasion Bar Co with non-alcoholic mocktails also available upon request.

Personlised bottles of award-winning organic vodka from Brixworth-based Jelley’s can additionally be added to orders.

Founder of Jelley’s Organic Vodka, Ben Jelley, said: “This year, perhaps more than any other, has shown us the importance of family. Many of us will not have had as much contact with our loved ones and Mother’s Day is a time to show just how much we appreciate them.

“We have put together a package showcasing ingredients from some of our favourite suppliers – those that have made life that little bit more bearable for us all throughout the last year. There’s no better way to say ‘thank you’.”

The treat box can be purchased on the Burnt Lemon Chefs website for a total of £100 and the package feeds two people.
