Blockbusters back at Northampton cinema with new Wonder Woman movie set for Christmas release

Film-lovers in Northampton can look forward to a host of hotly-anticipated releases this month, as new blockbusters arrive at the home of Big Screen Entertainment, Vue.

Among the films on offer right now is the long-awaited cinema release of Wonder Woman 1984. Starring Gal Gadot once again in the title role, the DC Comics epic sees Wonder Woman face off against Maxwell Lord and Cheetah, a villainess possessing superhuman strength.

Other new releases currently showing include Superintelligence, starring Melissa McCarthy as Carol Peters, a former corporate executive who has her humble life turned upside down when she is selected for observation by an artificial intelligence that may or may not take over the world; and Dreamland, a thriller about a young farm boy who helps a seductive fugitive hiding in his small town during the Great Depression.

Football fans will also be delighted as Vue Northampton broadcasts BT Sport’s live Premier League coverage. On Saturday 19 December, fans can watch Crystal Palace vs Liverpool on the big screen from 12.30pm.
