Are you looking to open up your home and your heart for an animal in need?
Wellingborough animal charity, 'Animals In Need Northamptonshire' are never short of strays and rescue pets that are in need of loving new homes.
We have compiled a gallery of animals that the charity have put out adoption appeals for - including dogs, cats, African snails and even a Corn snake!
Some of these animals will require a lot of time and patience because they, unfortunately, did not have the best start in life but the right owner will be sure to allow them to trust again.
If you are interested in adopting any of these animals, call Animals In Need Northamptonshire on 01933 278080 or email [email protected].
1. Karma
Two-year-old male Boxer-Staffie cross, Karma was handed in by his family, who could no longer keep him. He is housetrained, travels well and knows basic commands. A spokesperson for Animals in Need said: "He loves playing football, having belly rubs and playing with his tennis balls & kong. Karma is shy with strangers and gets worried about off-lead dogs approaching him so work will need doing to improve this." Photo: Animals In Need Northamptonshire
2. Stray corn snake
The stray corn snake was never claimed from the charity so is now looking for a lovely new home, which has experience in keeping snakes! A name has not been given for the snake but, according to the charity, it is in wonderful condition - eating and shedding well - and it is fine to handle. The snake will require a large vivarian, which will not be provided. Photo: Animals In Need Northamptonshire
