More adorable pictures of babies that have been born in Northampton during lockdown

Midwives and staff and Northampton General Hopsital have been praised once again by new parents

As lockdown rumbles on we all need a bit of lift and something to put a smile on our face.

And more adorable pictures of lockdown babies are sure to do just that.

At the end of last week Northampton Chronicle & Echo put out a call on social media to find any mums and dad who have welcomed babies to the world while the country has been in lockdown.

Hundreds of readers got in touch with cute pictures, names and birth weights, including those in a previous picture gallery. All those who contacted us had one thing in common and that was praise for Northampton General Hospital, its midwives and staff.

One parent said: "All the staff were amazing but special thanks has to go to the lovely midwives on Robert Watson ward who looked after us so well for the two nights we had to stay in. Nothing was too much trouble for them."

Another added: "We received the most incredible, caring, thoughtful care from the entire team at the birthing centre and labour ward. Thank you, we couldn’t have asked for more."

Here are 15 more pictures of Northampton's lockdown babies.
