A huge five-metre long dinosaur headed out on a one-day tour around Northampton at the weekend.
Reggie the Rex, who has previously wowed children in Boughton, stopped at five locations in and around the town on Saturday (August 8).
The life sized dinosaur, which is part of business Hero Party Hire, was also joined by a six other popular characters to put an even bigger smile on local children's faces.
Darren Smith, the man in charge of Reggie, who had to hire a van to complete the tour, said the day was a 'huge success'.
Local company 'Just Party' provided Batman, Spider-Man, Belle, Elsa, Anna and Peppa Pig costumes who all walked around with Reggie to keep him moving and avoid large gatherings or crowds.
The characters and massive dinosaur made stops at Kingsthorpe, Long Buckby, Harpole, Upton and Abington Park throughout the day and were greeted by excited children.
