Here are eight dogs, who have recently been brought into Animals In Need Northamptonshire, who are in need of loving homes.
Animals In Need, based in Little Irchester, is a charity dedicated to rescuing sick, injured, trapped and distressed wild and domestic animals. They provide veterinary treatment where necessary, care for and rehabilitate animals until they can be released or rehomed.
For more information about any of these dogs, please email the kennel team at [email protected].

5. Luna
Luna is a beautiful, affectionate six-year-old Staffie lady who came to Animals In Need due to a family breakup. She knows basic commands, travels well and is housetrained. She is very food-motivated but does need to work on her manners with other dogs. She has never been socialised with cats or smaller furry animals. Photo: Animals In Need

6. Pixie
Pixie came to Animals In Need from a council pound absolutely broken but she has really turned a corner. She has had a sad existence and was really scared to be touched. Now, in her own time, she loves fuss and attention and is really showing an affectionate side. An experienced, quiet home with an active, mature and patient person would be ideal. Pixie does seem to prefer men. Pixie is spayed, vaccinated, ID chipped and parasite treated. She will leave the charity with four weeks free insurance, a pedigree rehome pack and a behaviour session with Nathan Watson Dog Behaviour. Photo: Animals In Need

7. Max
This handsome boy is three-year-old medium sized crossbreed. He is full of life and love but he can be cheeky and will push his boundaries so an active home willing to put in some training with children no younger than teenagers is essential for a happy rehome. Max is neutered, vaccinated, chipped, parasite treated and leaves Animals In Need with a session with Nathan Watson Dog Behaviour, four weeks free insurance, a pedigree rehome pack and rescue back-up for life.
