Rare '60ALS' number plate expected to sell for up to £70k with Northamptonshire auctioneers

A rare number plate is to be sold by a Northamptonshire auctioneers this week with a guide price between £50,000 and £70,000.

‘60ALS’ will go under the online hammer through Towcester-based Humbert & Ellis for the first time in over a quarter of a century at auction on Thursday (October 1).

Auctioneer Jonathan Humbert said: "Such number plates that clearly say a word are always highly sought after and what better number plate for a top footballer or anyone with aspirations in life?!"

This will not be the first rare number plate Humbert & Ellis has sold, having previously auctioned ‘TAX1’ for £92,000 and ‘1RAN’ for £73,000 in 2018.
