We've delved into the Chronicle & Echo archives to bring you pictures from the top of buildings most people in Northampton have never been in - including the Lift Tower (obviously), Northampton House, Pinnacle House and Northampton Cathedral.
All the pictures were taken by our photographs between 2007 and 2011 - and there have been many changes in the last 10 decade or so that you will spot from the pictures. There are some iconic buildings, some lesser known ones and some town centre landmarks including Rat Island in its "prime".
