East Hunsbury makes spectacular tribute to fallen heroes ahead of Remembrance Sunday

Residents of East Hunsbury in Northampton have put together an incredible Remembrance Day memorial outside their library.

The project was led by Liz Carroll-Wheat with the support of villagers, school children and members of East Hunsbury Parish Council.

Rob Boler, who lives in East Hunsbury, sent the Chronicle & Echo these pictures of the impressive display.

"Many people passing the memorial are stopping to take photographs, indicating a significant interest in, and admiration for, the impressive structure.

"I hope you agree with them then, that the memorial is a massive credit to the residents of East Hunsbury, and reflects their sincere gratitude, and warmth of feeling, towards those who have made the ultimate sacrifice on their behalf," he said.
